The Power Of Intention
On New Years Day this year I set an intention.
I came downstairs early whilst the household was still asleep and wrote it down on a piece of paper.
I would actually make something with my hands.
The intent turned into action, and a few months later I spent a life-changing week with Otter Surfboards crafting my master design.
I took Daisy to meet James Otter and the team recently, to show her where the board was made. To show her how a New Year’s Day intention had turned into purpose.
Everything else has ebbed and flowed for me this year – houses, people, travel, businesses.
But the board remained ever-present. Stoic and reassuring.
A reminder that when you set your mind to something, when you set your intentions and make that commitment to yourself, then you have already set action in motion.
You’re just pulling it in.
The mind leads. Then magic happens.
That’s the power of intention.
So the question is, what intentions have you written down on that piece of paper in front of you?
And are you ready for them to happen?
