What Is One Word For Leadership?

The art of leadership in one word.

Some Friday thoughts.

What is the first word that comes to you when you think of leadership?

Vision? Direction? Control? Swagger? Presence?

Maybe, yes.

When I think about it, there is something that is the beating heart under all these words.

Courage.

From courage stems trust, belief, intent, determination.

It ignites risk, innovation, belonging, confidence.

It shouts out loud, “I am the leader!”, of self and others.

And the best bit is that it is completely free. No qualifications required. No investment upfront. No amount of privilege giving you a head start.

We’ve all got it in us.

Your potential, your personal best, can only be realised through acts of courage.

And courage, when demonstrated to those around us in personal or professional life, is the most contagious mindset in all humanity.

Can you only imagine how we could lift each other up even higher, through nothing more effortless than contagion?

So ask yourself, what are you daring to do today?

Because those around you are waiting to catch the inspiration.
